Kenda Martinez brings a uniquely seasoned perspective to the travel industry, shaped by decades of leadership across some of the nation’s most demanding sectors. Born and raised in East Texas and having lived throughout the Lone Star State, Kenda understands the pace, priorities, and logistical realities of both business and government travel. She currently divides her time between Hobbs, New Mexico, and El Paso, Texas, giving her firsthand familiarity with the Southwest’s critical energy, infrastructure, and commercial corridors.

With more than 25 years of experience in the Permian Basin oil and gas industry, Kenda has built a career rooted in operations, logistics, project coordination, and client service. Her professional background also includes service as a military contractor in aviation, work as a landman and right-of-way agent who has represented oil operators and utility companies, and extensive experience supporting complex, high-stakes industries where precision and responsiveness are non-negotiable. Coming from a first responder family and as the proud mother of three military veterans, she understands the unique travel demands of those who serve.

Currently pursuing an engineering degree at the University of Texas Permian Basin, Kenda combines practical field experience with a forward-looking technical mindset. Through Foerster Travel and her brand, Destinations by K, she specializes in corporate and managed travel solutions for government agencies, the oil and gas sector, and the commercial construction industry—delivering efficient, strategic travel planning tailored to organizations where time, budgets, and operational continuity matter.
