Wendy Atchley

Wendy has a true passion for travel and loves helping her clients create unforgettable memories! As an experienced travel advisor with Foerster Travel, she specializes in destination weddings and honeymoons, but also enjoys planning anniversary celebrations, family vacations, and just about any getaway that gives her clients something exciting to look forward to.

Wendy believes that no two vacations should be exactly alike. She takes the time to get to know her clients, understand what they are looking for, and help them find the perfect destination and experience. Whether it's a romantic honeymoon, a relaxing beach vacation, an Alaskan cruise, or a fun-filled family adventure, she loves making the planning process as easy and stress-free as possible.

Over the years, Wendy has earned several travel industry certifications, including WOW Certified, Certified Sandals and WeddingMoon Specialist, Certified Disney Specialist, Viking River Cruise Specialist, Master Agent with AM Resorts, Certified Carnival Cruise Line Specialist, Seabourn Cruise Specialist, and Certified Travel Associate (CTA).

One of her proudest professional accomplishments is earning her Certified Travel Associate (CTA) designation through The Travel Institute. This certification represents her dedication to continuing education, staying knowledgeable about the travel industry, and providing her clients with the best possible service. Wendy believes there is always something new to learn in travel, and she loves being able to put that knowledge to work for her clients.

When she's not busy planning vacations, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family. She is happily married to her best friend! She is a proud mom of three daughters, including one who served in the United States Navy, and has two bonus sons and two bonus daughters. She is also a very proud grandmother (“Wee”) to a beautiful granddaughter and grandson!

Wendy absolutely loves a beautiful beach and a luxury resort, but she also enjoys escaping to the mountains, especially during the winter months. Of all the places she has traveled, Emerald Bay in Exuma, Bahamas, holds the top spot on her favorites list, with Alaska coming in a very close second!

For Wendy, being a travel advisor is about so much more than booking a trip. It's about building relationships, taking care of the little details, and helping her clients make memories that will last a lifetime. She truly enjoys getting to know her travelers and being someone they can count on, from the first conversation until they return home.
