Travel has always been one of my greatest passions, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have turned that passion into a career I truly love. My journey to the travel industry began with a diverse professional background. I spent 15 years in the insurance industry as a licensed representative with State Farm and Allstate before following my entrepreneurial spirit and opening my own dance retail business in Lubbock in 2011. My store grew to become one of the largest dance retail businesses serving West Texas and New Mexico. After selling my business in 2018, I was ready for a new adventure. When a friend suggested I consider becoming a travel advisor, I jumped in wholeheartedly, and I quickly discovered that helping others experience the world was exactly where I belonged!

Today, I specialize in destination weddings, honeymoons, all-inclusive resorts, cruises, family vacations, couples' getaways, girls' trips, and group travel. Whether you are planning a romantic escape, celebrating a wedding, organizing a family adventure, or checking off a destination on your bucket list, I love helping you find the right vacation for your needs, interests, and budget.

Having traveled to numerous countries and experienced countless resorts, I enjoy sharing my firsthand knowledge and insights with my clients. A Little About Me

Family is at the heart of everything I do. I have been married to my husband, Phil, for over 27 years. After 28 years with AT&T, he retired and began a new career as an independent health insurance broker. I am the proud mother of three children. My oldest daughter, Addison, is married and works as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG in Fort Worth, Texas. My youngest daughter, Terrah, is an educator in Lubbock, Texas. My son, Hunter, who I was blessed to have for 19 years, remains forever in my heart. His memory continues to remind me how precious life is and how important it is to embrace new experiences and make memories with the people we love.

I treasure spending time with my family, whether we are at home or exploring somewhere new together. That love of making memories is also what inspires me in my work every day.

What I love most about the travel industry is that there is always something new to learn, another destination to discover, and another opportunity to help someone experience something extraordinary. For me, travel is about so much more than reaching a destination. It is about celebrating milestones, spending quality time together, discovering new cultures, and creating stories you will share for years to come.

Lindsay’s insatiable wanderlust is what inspired her to found Foerster Travel in 2012. Why a travel agency? Her hope was to help others experience the joy of exploring new cultures, indulging in exotic foods and meeting new friends. Though her original vision was to keep her company super-small (as in, just her), her travel services were in such high demand that she soon welcomed a team of top travel professionals.

Lindsay has been recognized as a top travel expert in the industry winning many awards on the agency level and as an advisor herself. When she isn't sitting behind her desk, she is most likely traveling to far off destinations. To date, she has been to every state in the United States except Maine and Rhode Island, and she has visited 70 countries. Some of her favorites (in no particular order) include Italy, Spain, and Costa Rica.

Outside of work, Lindsay most enjoys spending time with her son, Tagen, family, and good friends. She is an alumus of Texas Tech University, and a proud supporter of Red Raider athletics, too!
