Omaha, Nebraska Travel Experts for Unforgettable Trips

Life is too short to put off the adventures, experiences, and memories waiting to be made. I believe in making the most of every day, exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and creating memories with the people who matter most. That's what travel means to me, and it's why I love helping others experience it, too!

My love for travel began at Kansas State University, where I traveled to South America to learn more about agriculture while working toward my degree in Animal Science. Exploring Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay opened my eyes to the world beyond what I knew. After our honeymoon to Europe in 2009, I knew traveling would always be a passion of mine.

In 2022, I turned that passion into a career as a travel advisor. Since then, I've booked countless trips and helped my clients turn their vacation dreams into reality.

A Few of the Places I've Explored:

• Caribbean: Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Aruba, Barbados, St. Lucia, Saint Martin, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, and the Bahamas
• Mexico: Cancun, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, and Los Cabos
• Central & South America: Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay
• Europe: United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy
• United States: Alaska, Hawaii, Florida, and many other states

I've also experienced ocean cruising and European river cruising. While I love discovering new destinations, my favorite vacations are the ones I've shared with my kids, especially our trip to Mexico to celebrate my 40th birthday together. Those memories remind me just how special traveling as a family can be!

I live in rural Nebraska with my husband, David, and our three kids, Karis, Kesler, and Karsta. I also have a local office in Humphrey, Nebraska, and believe in supporting local businesses and our community.

At Foerster Travel, we believe great travel planning starts with genuine connections, trust, and honesty. As a travel advisor and destination wedding planner, I take the time to get to know my clients, understand their priorities, and provide honest recommendations to help them find the right experience.

Referrals and supporting my small business mean more than you know, and I'm incredibly grateful for every traveler who trusts me with their vacation plans.

Whether you're dreaming of a relaxing getaway, a family vacation, an international adventure, or a destination wedding, I'd love to help you plan an experience you'll remember for years to come.

Life is short. Make it count!

Lindsay’s insatiable wanderlust is what inspired her to found Foerster Travel in 2012. Why a travel agency? Her hope was to help others experience the joy of exploring new cultures, indulging in exotic foods and meeting new friends. Though her original vision was to keep her company super-small (as in, just her), her travel services were in such high demand that she soon welcomed a team of top travel professionals.

Lindsay has been recognized as a top travel expert in the industry winning many awards on the agency level and as an advisor herself. When she isn't sitting behind her desk, she is most likely traveling to far off destinations. To date, she has been to every state in the United States except Maine and Rhode Island, and she has visited 70 countries. Some of her favorites (in no particular order) include Italy, Spain, and Costa Rica.

Outside of work, Lindsay most enjoys spending time with her son, Tagen, family, and good friends. She is an alumus of Texas Tech University, and a proud supporter of Red Raider athletics, too!
