My love of travel (and Disney) started at a very young age. Born in Anaheim, California to parents from the Midwest, I spent much of my childhood exploring the United States, including Hawaii, and the west coast of Mexico. I have wonderful memories of spending Sundays after church at Disneyland and still consider it “home”.

When my mom moved back to the Midwest after I graduated from high school, I quickly followed. That move led to my time in the US Army and even more travel stateside.

After college, my management career led me back to Disney and I spent as much time as I could visiting my favorite mouse. During that time, I met my husband who thankfully has the same love of travel and the mouse that I do. And as you can imagine, our two wonderful boys are following in those footsteps. ☺️

Our wanderlust has taken us to 6 Caribbean Islands, the Bahamas, Mexico, Hawaii and 7 European countries including Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, England, Poland, and France.

My ultimate dream vacation would be to see all of the Disney Parks worldwide in one trip, or to spend a month traveling the Caribbean Islands.

My heart belongs to theme park destinations, a world where I've been fortunate enough to explore Disney and Universal parks across the globe. Yet, my love for travel has taken me far beyond the realms of these magical parks. I've traversed the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand, immersed myself in the rich cultures of Europe, ventured through the wonders of South America, savored the vibrancy of Mexico, dabbled in the serenity of the Caribbean, and embraced the diversity of Asia. Being bilingual in English and Mandarin allows me to offer personalized and tailored services to my clients, bridging the gap to ensure their needs are understood and met.

With each reservation I make, I pay meticulous attention to the unique desires of my clients. Whether they're seeking the perfect beach getaway, thrilling activities, culinary delights, or simply a serene retreat, I'm here to make their travel experience seamless and memorable. I’ve loved Disney and travel for as long as I can remember. Going to the beach, visiting Sea World and Disney with my mom are some of my best memories. I worked in client service and management through college where I earned my degree in Education and my Masters in Business Administration from Western Governors University.

My first trip as an adult to Walt Disney World was my honeymoon. My husband and I grew up going to Kings Island, but he had never been to Disney. I planned for months researching where to eat, rides, hotels, and transportation. After a week on property, rope drop to fireworks daily, we became self proclaimed “Disney Adults”.

Since our honeymoon we’ve had two children and continued to enjoy Disney trips, both as a family and also just with other adults. Our kids have been to Disney more times than they are years old, staying in nearly all of the resorts, riding all the rides, and eating all the Mickey shaped food. We’ve also expanded our trips beyond the Walt Disney World bubble, going to Universal Studios, Sea World, San Diego, Atlanta, Disneyland, as well as cruising with both Disney and Royal Caribbean!

Our travel bucket list has also expanded as our kids have added to it. Our next adventures will take us to see the Red Woods in Sequoia National Park, Picture Rocks National Lakeshore and on an Alaskan Cruise.

I’ve always been “a planner” - for my 5th birthday, I asked my parents for a Palm Pilot. I have always loved to organize the chaos. My love of travel began when I went overseas for the first time to London at 15 years old. As my dreams to see the world and my natural desire to plan trips began to take over - I soon became the “go to” within my family and friends when it came to planning adventures.

I studied International Studies at Miami University, with a concentration on Latin American History, where I was lucky enough to travel more - I studied abroad in 3 different programs - Cape Town, South Africa, Greece, and a homestay in a remote town outside of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I developed a passion for languages and food and knew I wanted to continue to experience other cultures forever!

I met my husband while at Miami and am lucky that he loves to travel (almost) as much as I do. Our travels have taken us all over the country as well as across the pond several times. We are huge foodies - this plays a big part in deciding where we will travel! Our next dream destination is Japan.

I’ve decided to take the leap into the world of travel because I’m passionate about helping people experience new cultures, new languages, new food, and new ways of life. It would be an honor to plan your next adventure!

After years of jokingly shrugging off the voice inside my head, I decided to turn my passion into a career and now I can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure!

Travel has always been a passion of mine. Trips with my wife, family adventures for us and our 6 kids, group travel with friends or extended family, and even business travel has fueled that passion by showing me more of our amazing planet and the people and cultures we share it with. Sharing stories of favorite vacations, insider tips and incredible experiences waiting to be explored keeps me always planning another trip.

While booking travel online has gotten easier, finding the right trip for you has become harder, as a seemingly endless list of options are now available. No two trips are the same. Maybe a relaxing week by the pool is what you need, or you’re ready for an unforgettable adventure in the French Alps with a group of friends, or maybe just a quick weekend getaway to recharge. I am here to listen and help you find the right trip, no matter the occasion.

I have extensive experience throughout the Caribbean and Mexico, as well as a passion for European travel. My recent wanderlust has me on a quest to visit all of the amazing National Parks here in the United States. I also love exploring big cities and finding the unique places only locals know about, while also hitting the can’t miss spots.

When I’m not exploring, you’ll find me on the sidelines coaching youth sports or cheering on my daughters at their dance competitions and soccer matches. I’m excited to hear what dream getaway you have in mind and to show you how to make it a reality!

We’re Jaime McDermott and Michael “Taco” Urtiaga, often referred to as “The Tacos”. We bonded early in our relationship over our shared love of travel and have spent the last 7+ years chasing and planning "that next vacation." Our favorite adventure together thus far was our trip to Prague and Germany, where we celebrated Munich Oktoberfest. Now we're excited to use our passion and expertise to help our friends and family make their travel dreams come true as well. Lindsay’s insatiable wanderlust is what inspired her to found Foerster Travel in 2012. Why a travel agency? Her hope was to help others experience the joy of exploring new cultures, indulging in exotic foods and meeting new friends. Though her original vision was to keep her company super-small (as in, just her), her travel services were in such high demand that she soon welcomed a team of top travel professionals.

Lindsay has been recognized as a top travel expert in the industry winning many awards on the agency level and as an advisor herself. When she isn't sitting behind her desk, she is most likely traveling to far off destinations. To date, she has been to every state in the United States except Maine and Rhode Island, and she has visited 70 countries. Some of her favorites (in no particular order) include Italy, Spain, and Costa Rica.

Outside of work, Lindsay most enjoys spending time with her son, Tagen, family, and good friends. She is an alumus of Texas Tech University, and a proud supporter of Red Raider athletics, too!

My love for travel began back in college at Kansas State University. It all started with my first trip abroad to South America, where I explored Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. That experience opened my eyes to the beauty of new cultures and sparked a lifelong passion for travel.

After our honeymoon in Europe, I knew without a doubt that traveling brought me true joy. The world is big, beautiful, and meant to be explored — and I’ve been lucky to see quite a bit of it!

Since then, I’ve traveled to many incredible destinations, including:

• Europe: United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy
• The U.S.: Florida (where my husband proposed in Fort Lauderdale!), Alaska, Hawaii, and many other states

I’m also an avid cruiser, with recent sailings on Holland America Line and Royal Caribbean. And now that we have three little ones, family travel has become a new passion of mine. We’ve already taken them to Mexico — and of course, they’ve fallen in love with it too!
