If you’re looking for travel inspiration, AI is incredible.

Want ideas for a honeymoon? A European Christmas market itinerary? The best beaches in Mexico? A family vacation with teenagers? Ask AI. Browse Pinterest. Scroll social media. Dream big.

In fact, I use AI every single day.

It helps me brainstorm ideas, organize information, compare destinations, and even become a more efficient business owner.

But when it’s time to actually spend thousands of dollars on your vacation…

That’s when you need a travel advisor.

Because AI doesn’t know you.

It doesn’t know that your husband has bad knees and walking two miles a day through Europe isn’t realistic.

It doesn’t know that your child gets motion sickness and a balcony cabin midship will make all the difference.

It doesn’t know that you’d gladly pay an extra $300 to avoid a 5:00 a.m. flight or a 45 minute connection through one of the busiest airports in the world.

It doesn’t know that celebrating your 25th anniversary deserves something extraordinary instead of “good enough.”

Those aren’t search terms.

They’re conversations.

And conversations create better vacations.

And unless you’re giving the right prompts, that information is not considered in any AI conversation.

AI also doesn’t know what it doesn’t know.

It may recommend a hotel because the reviews are excellent, but it doesn’t know the construction next door started three weeks ago.

It may suggest the “best” flight because it’s the least expensive, but it doesn’t recognize the overnight airport change, the tight international connection, or that a weather delay will almost certainly cause you to miss your cruise.

It may build a beautiful itinerary that looks perfect on paper while unknowingly scheduling attractions that are closed that day, routing you across a city multiple times, or underestimating how long it actually takes to get from one place to another.

Travel isn’t just information.

It’s judgment.

And judgment comes from experience.

I’ve spent years learning which resorts consistently exceed expectations and which ones photograph beautifully but disappoint in person.

I’ve learned which cruise cabins people love and which ones they’ll never book again.

I’ve learned that two hotels with the same star rating can deliver completely different experiences.

I’ve learned that “ocean view” doesn’t always mean what people think it means.

Those lessons didn’t come from an algorithm.

They came from years of planning thousands of vacations, traveling myself, touring resorts, building relationships with suppliers, and listening to client feedback.

But perhaps the biggest difference isn’t planning.

It’s what happens when something goes wrong.

Flights get canceled.

Luggage gets lost.

Cruises change itineraries.

Weather happens.

Hotels oversell rooms.

Suppliers make mistakes.

None of those things happen because someone planned poorly.

They’re simply part of travel.

And when they do, AI can’t pick up the phone.

It can’t spend hours finding another flight.

It can’t call a hotel manager to advocate for your family.

It can’t leverage relationships with business development managers or supplier executives.

It can’t fight for a refund, request an exception, or work behind the scenes while you’re trying to enjoy your vacation.

A travel advisor can.

And we do.

Every single day.

I’ve had clients text me from airports at midnight because they didn’t know what to do next. I’ve spent hours on hold rebooking flights during major weather events. I’ve helped recover lost reservations, worked directly with hotel managers when something wasn’t right, and advocated for my clients when suppliers made mistakes. These are situations you hope never happen, but when they do, you’ll be thankful you have someone who already knows your trip, understands your priorities, and is ready to step in.

I love technology.

I love AI.

I believe it’s one of the greatest tools our industry has ever seen.

But it’s exactly that. A tool.

It doesn’t replace experience.

It doesn’t replace relationships.

It doesn’t replace accountability.

And it certainly doesn’t replace having someone in your corner when you’ve invested your hard earned money into creating memories with the people you love.

So use AI.

Use Google.

Read the blogs.

Watch the videos.

Dream as big as you possibly can.

Then partner with a travel advisor who can turn those dreams into a vacation that’s thoughtfully planned, personally tailored, and professionally supported from the moment you book until the day you return home.

Because inspiration is free.

But peace of mind is priceless.

Contact me today and let’s plan your next adventure.
