The past couple of months have been a big step forward for Foerster Travel, and we are excited about everything that has been happening.

In February 2026, we reached an important milestone by re-securing Diamond Agency status with ALGV. This recognition places us among the top agencies working with one of the leading vacation wholesalers in the United States. It reflects not only our growth, but also the continued trust our clients place in us when planning their trips.

We have also seen some clear trends in where people want to travel right now. Japan continues to be a standout destination, with more travelers looking to experience its culture, food, and history. Europe remains in high demand as well, especially for river cruises, which offer a slower and more immersive way to see multiple cities and countries. At the same time, ocean cruising is picking up in a big way, with strong interest in Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class ships.

Another highlight has been the feedback we are hearing from clients who have sailed with Virgin Voyages. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with travelers enjoying everything from the dining to the overall atmosphere on board. With new Alaska itineraries now available, it is a great time to start thinking about that kind of trip if it has been on your list.

We also want to share an important update about Mexico travel. Puerto Vallarta is fully operational and very much back in business. Even after recent events in the area, resorts, tours, and tourism partners are welcoming guests and operating as normal. It remains one of the most popular and vibrant destinations for our travelers, and confidence in the region is strong. Our team will be traveling there at the end of May to experience Unico Vallarta firsthand so we can continue to provide real, up to date insight and recommendations for our clients.

April was Travel Advisor Appreciation Month, and it gave us a moment to reflect on how grateful we are for the trust our clients place in us. Being a travel advisor is about more than booking trips.
