This is the home base for the vast majority of visitors, and rightfully so. Provo has the international airport, the most resort options, Grace Bay Beach, and a small but excellent dining scene centered around the Grace Bay area. The island is relaxed and unhurried in a way that the more developed Caribbean islands sometimes aren’t — there’s no cruise ship dock on Provo, which means the famous beach never experiences the tourist surges that can overwhelm Cozumel or Nassau’s Cable Beach.
Parrot Cay

Flamingo Pond on North Caicos is home to a large flock of Caribbean flamingos. Conch Bar Caves on Middle Caicos is one of the most significant cave systems in the Caribbean. These islands are worth a day trip from Provo for the curious traveler.
