Ocean & River Cruises

Cruising is, at its core, one of the most elegant travel concepts ever invented: you unpack once, sleep in your own cabin every night, and wake up somewhere new every morning. The logistics of moving between destinations — the flights, the hotels, the transfers — are handled entirely by someone else. You show up, you get on the ship, and you decide how much or how little you want to do each day. For travelers who have spent years managing complex multi-city itineraries on their own, the appeal of handing all of that over tends to become very clear very quickly.

We book a lot of cruises. A lot. Caribbean sailings, Alaskan Inside Passage voyages, Mediterranean island-hopping, European river cruises on the Rhine and Danube, expedition cruises to Iceland and Antarctica, Disney Cruise Line sailings with families who come back and book the next one before they’ve unpacked. Cruising is one of the most diverse categories in travel, and understanding the real differences between cruise lines and ships is where our expertise adds the most value.

Types of Cruises We Book

Caribbean & Bahamas Cruises

This is where most first-time cruisers start, and it’s a great place to start. Short sailings (3–5 nights) out of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or Galveston make Caribbean cruising accessible from Texas. Longer itineraries — 7 nights or more — get you deeper into the Eastern or Western Caribbean, with calls in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Aruba, and beyond. We’ll match the right ship and itinerary to your group’s size, interests, and budget.

Alaskan Cruises

One of the most spectacular natural experiences available in North American travel. The Inside Passage route runs between Vancouver or Seattle and Anchorage, threading through fjords, past tidewater glaciers, and into ports like Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan. Whale watching, floatplane excursions, and helicopter glacier landings are all on the table. May through September is the window, with June and July offering the longest days and best overall conditions.

Mediterranean Cruises

Rome for breakfast, Athens for lunch, Santorini for dinner — alright, it’s not quite that fast, but the Mediterranean does let you hit an extraordinary number of iconic destinations in a single sailing. Greek islands, the Amalfi Coast, Barcelona, Dubrovnik, Istanbul — we build Mediterranean itineraries for our clients frequently, often combining a cruise with pre- or post-cruise stays in a home port city.

River Cruises (European & Beyond)

River cruising is an entirely different product from ocean cruising, and it tends to attract a different traveler — typically someone who wants smaller ships (150–200 guests rather than 3,000–7,000), more immersive cultural programming, and itineraries that dock right in the heart of cities rather than miles offshore. Viking River Cruises is the dominant player and deservedly so; AmaWaterways and Scenic are also exceptional. The Christmas market river cruises in November and December are perennial favorites among our clients.

Luxury & Ultra-Luxury Cruises

For travelers who want the cruising model at its most refined — smaller ships, more included amenities, higher service ratios, and the ability to call on ports that mega-ships simply can’t access — the luxury segment is remarkable. Silversea, Regent Seven Seas (all-inclusive, including flights on many sailings), Seabourn, and Oceania all deliver exceptional experiences that represent genuinely good value when you account for everything that’s included.

Find Your Perfect Sailing

Tell us who’s sailing with you, where you’ve always wanted to go, and roughly when you’re thinking — and we’ll match you to the right cruise line, ship, and itinerary. No obligation, just good advice from people who know these ships personally.
